FAQ

About the app

Does the app cost anything?

No. The app is free to download. You use the same prepaid SMS credits as on the website — 1 credit per SMS to Ethio Telecom, 2 to Safaricom.

Do I need a new account?

No. Sign in with your SMSHub e-mail and password, or with Telegram. Your credits, history, tickets and API key are shared between the website and the app.

When is it coming?

Soon — we're finishing the final checks before it goes live on Google Play. Account holders will hear about it first.

Which phones does it work on?

The first version is for Android phones. Until it arrives — and on any other device — everything works in your browser at smshub.et.

Is my account safe on my phone?

Yes. The app can be locked with a PIN or fingerprint, and you can sign out of every other device at any time from Account → Security.

Don't wait for the app.

Start sending from the website today — the app picks up right where you left off.
